IfthenyesAfter months pause from blogging, this IF yes THEN what? tumblr offers a series of sweet sentiments as a return.  While moving a turtle can be enticing, teaching core principles of coding as expressions of emotion (and as “an outlet for lovelorn nerds”), aside from being poetic, seems like a relatively unexercised method for moving folks to seeing programming as an expressive language.

Coupled with new aspirations for programming environments (see Learnable Programming) maybe more of our code worlds will start saying new things.
